NHAI introducing 350 per month pass

Last year NHAI introduced yearly pass for Rs 3000 where we can use that pass on national and state highways for 200 times. It was a very useful one especially for frequent travellers. I found it very useful for myself. If not for that pass, I usually spend more than Rs 5000 or even more than that for toll charges. Now with 3000 pass I'm able to travel without having to pay much for tolls. Some tolls are paid ones and we cannot do much about that. But that's okay.

I just came back home from a travel and I noticed that I have utilised a total of 100 times in the last one year. This itself is a big savings for me. If I travel to Banglore from Chennai for like 3 times I would be spending more than Rs 3000 on toll itself. Now with this pass it has become convenient and I don't have to spend that much. But if you look okay at my pass, it is almost one year already and I have utilised only half of it. But I think that itself is a great achievement for sure. I don't mind if I'm unable to utilise the remaining.

I will be very happy to puchase this pass again after it expires. The reason because it works out very well for me. There are some costly tolls available and that itself can drain a lot of money from me if I don't have this pass. I hope I will be traveling more than last year to make full utilisation of this pass.

Now coming to this article title, I read that they have launched a monthly pass. This can be useful for people who frequently travelled a lot. I think more than monthly pass, yearly pass is the thing that will be working for me. But this is definitely a great move from the NHAI. Let's see how people react to this and how people make use of this.
