POEM "CHALLENGE"
# CHALLENGE
Cold seemed to skin my waiting
In the dark you once sowed the promise
When the night will you take
Silent solitude you do not empathize
Where did you go?
Have you sank by the ocean?
I'm still silent here looking at the twilight face
inquiringly;
will my waiting for this lead in vain,
or ending happy?
Just a word that might be convincing
That you deserve faith
You will not let me dissolve in waiting
Until you say: for me happiness
