Sketch

A quick sketch of some powerful person. I really like to draw characters with a powerful presence, that you see them and think "that's some badass character"...but, at the same time, I like to break that idea with an absurd twist, because in the end a character that is so cool and powerful and who wins all the time, ends up being boring and predictable.

Sometimes I draw the sketch and then I make the clean lines, this time I wanted to do something quickly, less clean. This is also a good exercise to practice backgrounds because I usually leave a white BG and the character. The blur effect helped me too to give more focus on the character and give the feeling of depth and movement of the objects.

Now that i see how much the background elements can add to a drawing i will start to put more effort on them.
