Introducing Myself!
Hey all!
My name is Beach, and I am a writer from Michigan.
I am a fantasy lover, a gamer, and a big believer in the power of open collaboration and supporting one another.
I have always "been a writer", in that I enjoyed writing and did it as a hobby. However, by some strange twist of events that I am still coming to terms with, I have ended up here, in the "Web3 space", writing and building for my living.
Posting my work online has always been something I was terrified of, in fact very few people have ever seen any of my work outside of college classrooms. Still working on getting it into the hands of close friends and family, but part of my transformation over the last year has included throwing caution to the wind and just presenting!
I have met so many amazing people on my journey so far, and I look forward to meeting new friends here.

Great to learn some more about you 😁 Hey from Ohio! Can almost see ya from here 😂
I never shared any of my work either, until I got onto (first steemit, then) Hive. You will find wings here in no time, this is a wonderful place to share your creations!
A few suggestions to help you along, if I may? I would edit this post and add some more tags- chiefly #introduceyourself #introduction. You get 10 tags on Peakd, if you don't use them, how will anyone find out how cool you are?! PLEASE do make sure you properly use tags though (for example, the ones I just mentioned are a one-time thing).
Some I like to use for my stories are: fiction (or creative-nonfiction/ nonfiction when it applies), writing, fantasy (or sci-fi), freewriters, poem (along with blockchainpoets if it applies) etc. The first five tags will be what your content will be most easily found under, forever. Use them to describe, then add additional tags for groups etc. TAGS EARN TOKENS TOO- but let's talk about that some other time 😂
creativecoin, neoxian, archon, proofofbrain, and alive (used in conjunction with aliveandthriving tag) are just a few examples as finishing tags to add to any creative work that earn tokens!
Also, this has probably been muted in scholar and scribe, or will be. It's a great supportive community for fiction writing, but there are rules against other posts. That's okay- there's a lot to take in. You're new here, so no one cool will be mad at ya for it, but ALWAYS read community posting guidelines ❤️ As far as I know, there's no way to change that now, we all make mistakes though 😁
Okay I've probably said enough now PHEW (ya girl sure can talk!) wishing you a happy Friday, and looking forward to reading your new story when I finish up some writing of my own !LUV !PIZZA !LOLZ
I gifted $PIZZA slices here:

Nice to meet you more formally, and thank you for all the tips! I enjoyed reading your most recent free-write btw, the into definitely threw me for a loop and the writing style kept me engaged!
You're right, definitely, a lot to take in. Learning a little bit more each time I log on, I still need to do some more reading about all of the tokens and voting once I have some time this weekend.
(Sorry to everyone for the post being in the wrong spot, please feel free to "mute" it or let me know if I can/should delete it!)
