Double dating is not a way of promoting a relationship. So why are we in a relationship? We should be able to be truthful to our spouse and have vital communication.
Double dating can be dramatizing and can lead to a breakdown of one's healthcare, mentally, emotionally, and more, but the worst part is that it reduces your performance/ability in various areas, like the workplace, and makes you lose focus on life itself and also career ambition.
