😩😩I JUST DON'T GET IT😩😩

Why is it that my estimated account value doesn't increase when the price of steem increases but rather decreases in tandem with the decreasing steem price??

Would really appreciate it if someone can educate me on how the estimated account value is calculated and the exchange price used in determining the price/value of steem.
