ONCE UPON A TIME...

Once upon a time in Nigeria... Brides tied their geles themselves or with the help of "Anti Kemi" You did not need a huge hall Introduction/Engagement Ceremonies were done in homes, receptions in church hall or School compound... No array of Internationally Certified Photographers. No Big Screens... No fancy decors running into millions...

Once you are given a plate of rice(sometimes in a Plastic take away bowl with your spoon wrapped around it)... that's it...
No small chops
No fish and Chips
No Chinese
No dessert
No Sharwama
No cocktails/mocktails..
No ice cream fountain
No Fruit Tree.
Etc etc.....
No wonder Parents didn't need to break the bank for weddings...

Once upon a time.... Our Concentration was on things that matter... Giving our children good Education and Correct values...
