10,000 Hours - Buttercups Part 6

Whew what a week! My little sister graduated high school and we had a heaping handful of family in town for that right on the heels of the carpet guys so I'm still catching up on sleep and sanity. BUT it was fun and awesome and I screamed like an extrovert when she crossed the stage. Now, back to the (newly cleaned and carpeted) drawing board!

I continue adding in my background colors and having great fun with it. It's funny, I add in the lowermost layers on whims more than anything, but by the time I get to the greens I want to show on top, I see the shapes of leaves and stems behind the buttercups. I love it when elements come together like that. It surprises me in the most wonderful of ways. :D
