My love for Amsterdam

Where do i start?
What made me fall inlove with Amsterdam...
Ok, it wasnt the awesome feeling of the first country i stepped foot into without my parents there to hold my hand, or the crazy fun loving characters, it wasnt the people partying down the canal on their house boats and you know what, it wasnt even the weed, i mean dont get me wrong, pulling out a bong and having a cone at the breakfast bar was awesome, but.

It was the scenery, it was the first amazing GREEN lush park we passed in a street full of apartment buildings. Which i didnt even know could be that green.
It was the hanging flower pots, as you walked, or rode, across the bridges.

And the cool hangouts built into the walls

Amsterdam was alive with people eating dinner at 10pm because the sun was still out and shining, they have sex museums full of stuff i didnt even know exsisted
Amsterdam for me was a place of wonder, and opened my eyes to the world beyond Australia and honestly the best place to start my European holiday .
