Gray wolves or wolves (Latin: Canis lupus) are carnivorous mammals. Gray wolf has the same origin with overseas dogs from the Canis lupus family through evidence of DNA sequencing and genetic investigation. Some types of dogs also have a physical form similar to wolves, for example Siberian Husky dogs, Malamut Alaska and Samoyed. In general, the wolf has a height of about 60 cm to 80 cm (26-32 inches) and weighs about 23-59 kilograms.
