ISAW is life

Have you ever tried one of these? If you love to try something new, I recommend you try it. These curly stuff in skewers are called "isaw" These are chicken intestines which are thoroughly washed and cleaned, and skewered in a wooden stick ready for grilling. These isaws are pretty much rockstars in the streets. They are dipped in a special sauce that is a mixture of vinegar, onions, black pepper, and sugar. you could also put in some red hot chili peppers if you want a little more kick to it. It is so affordable (around 10 cents or 5php) that everyone could enjoy the savory taste of the isaw. I always bought isaw after school when I was in college. coz, isaw is life! haha! Don't worry, the isaw vendors across school see to it that the isaw we eat are safe, washed and cleaned well.
