A spiral appears going down
Center slowly turns around
Looking upward into mind
All the while, nothing sublime
Dark oppressive, seems no way out
Where's the bell, to stop this bout
Inside the head many fears, and doubts
Pressure increases, building darkest of clouds

Mental deaths happened, so many times
Cursed by body's health, or all in the mind
Thoughts flashing and darting, there is no relief
Unable to reason, the wish, is only to leave
Shoes come off, feet touch the earth
Finding out really, what grounding is worth

Slowly the cloud is drained away
Sitting and swaying, nothing to say
Negative charge gone to ground
Welcomed relief, that was found
Sitting, breathing slowly, being reflective
The big picture appears, changing perspective

Great share, thank you. Suicide is one of the most harrowing aspects of our mortality. It is a brutal choice, one that offends the basic sensibilities of humanity. We must cultivate a powerful compassion for those dealing with depression and suicidal urges, as well as their loved ones. I appreciate you breaching this uncomfortable yet vital topic. I seldom mention the fact that, I had despaired,
The universe sent many that I saw too cared.
I am grateful for the resonance and equilibrium,
Balance with myself, lifting others like helium.
Sometimes I forget, but I'll always truly know,
The universe provides, and I can feel the flow.

I love walking bare-feet. Do you too?
Grounding is a very good energy balancer. I am barefoot most of the time and love it. My home has a stone floor so it is easy to stay grounded and my feet have thick soles from years of barefooting. :D
