Half Marathon Run: September 16 2018
Terrible weather today in the North of England but another half-marathon tracked on my Runstastic log.

Crazy People / Sexual Predators report
Being a lone woman on a canal path attracts unwanted attention frequently. Today I had a cyclist who was staring a little long for my liking. If I can avoid these people I do but cyclists are faster than me.
Events during the Run
Another runner tried to ‘outrun’ me. He conceded in the end with the words, ‘you’re too quick for my liking’.
A German shepherd who was friendly according to the owner didn’t look so friendly too me. Fortunately I convinced him to put the dog on a lead. I don’t like big dogs chasing me down the canal thanks.

That's some great running. I've only run one half marathon and it was in a similar time to this. I will try to build back up to it and at least do the same event next year. Hope to see more posts from you soon
23K steps somehow doesn't do a half marathon justice.

@steevc, I used to run just over 3 miles but this year I became obsessed with running. I tried to run at least 20 miles once a week but the weather today is a bit manic. These days I run 10 miles everyday. Fancy running while we are in Krakow?
I tried to run 20 miles at least once a week. I do run 10 miles everyday if i have time. There is always some lunatics around when I'm out running and I've reported few to the Police.
10 miles a day is amazing. Not sure I can manage that. We may be able to run in Krakow, but I've got limited luggage capacity for spare shoes etc. It's likely to be cold.
I generally do a half hour run in the week and a longer one at the weekend. I may try to do the parkrun more often as an extra.

You are very inspiring! My husband is a runner, but I could never quite get into long distance running, even though I was a sprinter in my school days..

I tend to run on my own and if it’s early morning or evening then I feel quite vulnerable but if I want to run then I have to go get over it.
