This has always been such a beautiful piece. It's particularly amazing because of how perfect it is without being complex. The notes that Zimmer used are so perfect for the extremely slow tempo and it really captures the mood. In structure, the piece is pretty simple. The 8 measure phrase repeats throughout the entire piece with more complex orchestration as more countermelodies are added.
