Bitter Crime - Short Story

Okay this is my first short story. Hope you all like it. I am new on steem so if I have not followed any rules please let me know.

I opened the door of my home with one hand and the groceries in the other. I kept the groceries on the table.

"Ceaser! Ceaser! Did you edit my book? you told me that you would" I shouted. But when I went near his room there was blood leaking out. "Ceaser!" I shrieked scared of what might have happened to him. I pushed his door with shaking hands to find him sitting on the bed all messy and dirty with a kitchen knife in hand blood leaking from it too.

I screamed. But it came out like a whimper. "What did you do Ceaser!" I squeaked. There lay a woman on the ground blood making it's way out from her neck and the stomach.

"I did what is right sister." He said softly. "What do you mean!" I shouted.

"This woman over here? She comes to my office daily. She asks me for a huge amount of money and to sell this house. I always say I can't give her anything and I am not interested to sell this house. After a few days she started to threaten me in different ways. One day she found out I had a sister whom I love dearly and started to threaten me. So I always kept you on my sight. Today I got message. She said she was going to kill you today. So I made a trap. She thought I wasn't here. I killed her Lara I killed her." He said happily.

"Ceaser… No ceaser you shouldn't have done this. Yo could have left this to the police or something Ceaser. You could have done something else." I said furiously. I started to hyperventilate.

"Lara! are you alright?" He asked. "Leave me alone Ceaser. Don't you ever show me your face." I screamed and went out of the home and got my car.

I am going out to the only place I get peace. My mother's grave.

I couldn't see well because of the tears blurring my vision and I was getting dizzy. I suddenly let go of the wheel. I think I hit something and I was choking on something metallic liquid. And then I let the darkness take me over.
