Crochet #2: my cable pattern pillow cover

Hey crochetlovers!

Hope you’ve all had a great Monday. Time flies, busy days and I’m trying to find some time to work on my crochet project! Currently I’m working on a cable pattern pillow cover (grey). I haven’t figured out yet how exactly I want to have it.. I want to work with lining where I only crochet a front side and use the lining so I can fill the pillow with material. Or should I make a front and back crochet side and stitch them together like the 4thpicture? What do you think? 😩

***How To Cable Crochet***

For this cable crochet pattern, I used the following youtube video of the user Sewrella. She explains it very clearly how to cable crochet.

Her cover is based on 27 stitches and mine is based on 39 because I want to have a bigger cover. I suggest you take a look at this video if you also want to make this cover and if there are any questions, you can always ask me! It took me a few days to figure out how to crochet this cable pattern and how to make a bigger version than explained in this video.

Tips about crocheting and the design are always welcome, so please leave a comment and let’s connect!
