Catfish pepper soup

Hello foodies, happy weekend from here I’m happy to be here. I want to share this delicious meal I just finished making with you hope you would want to try this out😋

I’m from Nigeria and this meal is everywhere you actually can eat this with rice 🍚

and this is my favorite combination it’s yummy

i also enjoy it with yam 🍠 or potatoes 🥔

or you eat it as it is with a chilled juice 🧃 or water it’s very peppery hence the name catfish pepper soup. Here in Nigeria most of us prefer taking this with a chilled beer as it is something you can actually find almost in every restaurants and bars.
All you need for this meal is your Catfish, the spices, scent leaf or pumpkin leaf, bell peppers, onions, small touch of groundnut oil if eating with white rice then your seasoning and salt.
This meal is easy to prepare and doesn’t take time. All you do is wash your catfish thoroughly with warm water just like this 👇

after which you place them inside your boiling water the amount of water you would want depending on the quantity Put those items I listed,

add little amount of groundnut oil and let it boil for some time. Then you are good to go😋
