Ethereum points to global innovation

With the Swiss city of Zug adopting blockchain platform Ethereum for its identity management, this represents a growing sign of that the next generation of innovation is no longer a monopoly held by the United States.

While it is a welcome sign to always see innovation, it should be a red alert with the current state of verbal conflict in American politics. This is not only a sign that the fabric of innovation will further become undone but that we are accelerating our descent into a tribal conflict mentality, while innovation finds higher adoption rates outside our borders.

My hat tips out to the Swiss for being organized and receptive to innovation. My forecast is that the next decade will see increased innovation transcend traditional innovation hubs and leap unto urban centers that have maintained their focus on the basics of civilized society. Furthermore, when innovation occurs in areas that have reasonable costs of living, there will be a further drain on your traditional hotspots of innovation until an equilibrium happens.
