Electrical Overview of 800 kW Bitcoin mining facility while shutdown
We shut down the mining facility in the leased warehouse space and are consolidating into one location. Planning on taking the existing infrastructure and putting it into a shipping container for mining. This is a good opportunity to show how the 1000 kVA 208 VAC three phase transformer was connected to be able to provide 208 volt single phase power to the miners

Rolf thanks for sharing this video. Seeing the electrical infrastructure for a mining facility is quite valuable information. One day I'd like to have 200/400 volt power so I can mine more efficiently. Hope your facility and your team is doing well.
Hehe those miners look pretty dusty.
Thanks solominer. We are rebuilding that electrical and cooling system into two shipping containers, each about 400 kW. Going to get them plugged in and running. All the old hardware I have is profitable right now...except Antminer D3's.
Loving the modular plans using shipping containers, would love to see how those end up being set up once they are all up and running.
Hah yeah prices are making some of those old miners profitable again. Ive been sticking with video cards, as my power prices are not all that good and trying to buy an ASIC at the right time to profit seems to be quite the gamble. Though in this bull market maybe its worth it to look into it again. Since video cards are really card to come by. I want a 3090 for my desktop but I can never find any in stock..lol!
