My new add-on macro lense

I recently bought a micro lens from a local vendor in Malaysia. The lens is a custom made lens that is design to fit a smartphone. Honestly, I'm a bit skeptical on the result of the lens. The price is also considered to be on the high side.

The lens seller did post sample pictures taken using the custom lens. The sample pictures is the only reason I did purchase the custom lens. Maybe I need to take the risk, bought the lens and try it myself.

When the custom lens arrived, I can see that the lens are consist of three components:

1. Body
2. Clip
3. Lens

Assembling the lens is really easy. The lens are fitted into a 3D printed body. Next is to connect the body to the lens. There is a screw thread on top of the body and clip. After screwing the body to clip, the custom lens is ready to be clip-on on top of smartphone

Since I am working today, I tried to lens on my laptop keyboard and car steering. Need to have more practice on how to use and operate the lens more efficiently. I'll try to practice on insects when my schedule allows. Most probably on weekends
