Hands turning, the world is burning around her
Apologetics were never her strong suit
Lost in time, awaiting that familiar warm embrace
She remembers the feeling with her entire being, deeply embedded within her heart
She knows not how to move forward,
Tick tock, tick tock tick tock
Curiously standing still, as life goes on around her
People laughing, smiling, living lives worth living
But what is a life worth living if living a life meant standing still until the handshake of death took her?
