My Generation

My first day on Steemit. It's been fun exploring.

One of the first things I did was to upvote an introduceyourself post written by a lady who was almost 80. That's really something. I'm not thinking so much about issues of being tech-savvy vs. being tech-challenged (like me). It's that I was surprised and delighted somebody who was almost 80 was interested in being involved in this experience, since I can't help but notice that everybody else I've 'met' so far has given me the impression they're a lot younger than I am, they talk faster than I do and have more exciting lives. Perhaps that's true perhaps it's not. In either case, this is what I was reminded of:

Kicking ass 1964 style. Oh yeah.

Okay, that's enough nostalgia. Back to 2016 now for more cyberadventures.
