I walk in a daze
dragged

My eyes have lost its spark
The deep brown
a dull ash

Like the hours bound to the seconds
I am tuned to the rules of the world

I follow and not lead
I stare and not observe
Each day a waiting slumber
Each wait a burden to my eyes
a ship with the compass lost
a wood in the ocean vast
a vagabond

I am responsibility
I am duty
