26 May 2026, Freewriters Community Daily Writing Prompt Day 3115: USE THE SOAP
"Use soap," my grandmother told me every time I came outside. As a child I thought she was just obsessed with cleanliness. But today I understand that there was something much deeper behind those words. People carry many invisible things throughout their lives. Stress from work, anger due to arguments, fear of the future. Sometimes it seems as if the mind gets dirty just like the hands after hard work. Soap removes dust from the skin, but silence, peace and kindness remove the heaviness from the soul. Working with people through massage taught me that the body remembers everything. Tension remains in the shoulders, nervousness in the stomach, and exhaustion in the eyes. Many people look clean on the outside, but they carry too much pressure inside. That's why small rituals are important. Washing your hands after a long day, taking a deep breath, a moment when water calms your mind. Maybe "use soap" isn't just hygiene advice. Maybe it's a reminder to cleanse ourselves of negative energy before we touch the world around us.

Oh this is an interesting way to put this. True that sometimes we are clouded by the things around us and so we need to constantly cleanse ourselves of the negative and bad energy around us and live peacefully just as we keep our outer or physical body clean, our mind needs some cleansing too
