Introductory Post: My first post on Hive

HEY THERE HIVERS!

Who am I?
My name is Michael Bondzie and I am thrilled to join this wonderful community. I come from Ghana, specifically Winneba in the central region. A Fante, people known for their talents, academics and achievements. I am 18 years of age and I can’t wait to interact with you guys.

Living in the Northern region, I attended Central Lyceum, Tamale Senior High school and currently pursuing BSc Computer Science at the University for Development Studies. I have great interest in software development; the reason for pursuing this course. I wish to learn programming languages like Java, JavaScript and solidity. This skill unlocks the potential to solve many problems we face in communities. It is my hope that through interactions and learning from the blockchain, I would be able to learn and improve upon my skills as a developer. I also have the aim to be a blockchain developer and as I join this wonderful platform, I will get to know much about blockchain which can make my journey easy and faster for me.

Interests:
Emotions and words were things I never understood as a child upon growing up and connecting with people through feelings was just impossible for me. I started off as an introvert and now, I can boast of being an extrovert. This was possible because of the sudden interest I had for poetry. Poetry unlocked my speaking skills and aided me to express myself fully. It allowed me open the sealed pores that led to my feelings, it unlocked doors sealed by a hardened heart. Poetry brought about connections on different levels I thought I would never understand. With poetry, I can understand, comfort and inspire people. Words indeed are a powerful tool.

Who introduced me?
I got to know about Hive through the Hive Empowerment Project event that was organized at my school recently. I really appreciate the effort the organizers put in. I especially loved the enthusiasm they had when explaining to us what the Hive community was including the available opportunities that are there for, we the youth. It was so much fun and enjoying.

Why Hive?
I have high expectations here on Hive. I wish to connect and help hivers in any way possible. I also have the zeal to share my poetry skills with you all and as a developer, I will also share some of my programming skills on the blockchain for the benefits of others.
I also ask that you aid me develop and share my skills for a better future. I really appreciate this community. It is not just going to end right here, I will my possible best to stay active and vibrant in the community through engagement and content creation.
