Is there anything new under the sun? Is there a limit to creativity? While indeed there is nothing new under the sun, it does sometimes seem like we have seen all there is to see and the number of permutations of ideas has reached its limits. Even scientists seem to think that they have discovered most of what there is to discover and truly new discoveries are being made much less often.
It’s safe to think that we have discovered all the easy stuff. If there’s nothing new under the sun, why not search elsewhere? And if the number of ideas is indeed finite on some scale, we need a go over the sun – or somewhere else for that matter because creativity is an expression of divinity. It’s the psyche and personality of the creator revealed in the creation. God stopped creation because He had created a creator. So, as long as that thing called life continues to dwell in us, so far as that spark of divinity lies within us we should never stop creating.
