Speaking of difficulty bombs.

I've been checking my great source for bitcoin difficulty bitcoin wisdom. I have found that since the first bitcoin difficulty decrease it's like a bomb has gone off. Anyone know something I don't?

As a new miner keeping up with the difficulty was my main concern going in. I hate to see it realized after our first decrease in difficulty in quite sometime.
