Android Solar Uptime Challenge

e/OS on a 2013 moto g smartphone.

honestly like this little phone, a bigger (undestroyed) screen and LTE support and i could see myself using this as a daily driver...

i dont have a ton of use for this phone because i already have a phone but its actually got a decent battery on it...

makes me think...

i have a 12v solar charger, and a whole bunch of power banks....

now im thinking about running a webserver and hosting a basic html website on the phone and connecting the solar cell to the power bank and powering the phone off the power bank...

create a solar powered uptime challenge...should be doable in the summer, especially with the long(er) days

will the solar panel make enough power during the day to charge the phone and power bank that it will last through the night?

not sure. will we find out? yes.
