Tinago Falls

It is one of the main tourist attractions of Iligan, a city known as the City of Majestic Waterfalls. Tinago is a Filipino term meaning "hidden" and that's how the falls got its name. My good friend sent me these pictures and I'm glad to share it with you.

Going here is a challenge though, you must trek approximately 500 descending steps called the winding staircase.

But don't worry though, it'll be worth it once you've reached the bottom. The very cold waters cascading beautifully into a deep and calm basin-like pool which appears like a blue-colored lagoon. Under the falls is a small cave where people can enter and listen to the rumbling waters. I didn’t attempt to go inside the cave as I am not familiar with the place.
