My first DIY bushcraft knife OVERVIEW details in description

Hello.
It's my first knife i have done by myself few years ago. I use it on my trips for bushcrafting purposes and camping.

It's made of NC6 tool steel 6mm thick. The blank knife was hardened to more or less 58HRC. Handle is made of some scrap wood i found in my workshop. I used a linseed oil to make the wood waterproof.

Pouch is made of grain cowskin 4mm thick, dyed, wet formed and sew by inpregnated 1mm poliester thread. For water protection i used hot waxing. It took me about 20 hours to do this knife with tools that everybody has in home.

Hope you enjoy it.
