About our guest, Pharesim 🌟

Alright friends…on Tuesday we are welcoming someone who’s been in the trenches since April 2016 — @pharesim!

He’s a top 20 witness who actually ships things — HiveComb, a new content-discovery frontend, a revived hiveinvite.com, ongoing tax-report tooling the whole chain leans on come filing season.

He also runs @curangel, a major curation initiative that manually rewards quality content and isn’t afraid to downvote reward-pool abuse when it finds it.

Self-described as an “anarchist without adjectives,” pharesim doesn’t shy away from stirring things up! He’s pro- PEVO, so much so that he launched a publishing and evaluation beta site.

With @pharesim we’ll be talking about what a top 20 witness actually does for the chain, the line between onboarding and extraction, and why dhf accountability is such a struggle to to achieve, even when everyone seems to agree it’s needed.
