Personally I'd advise you to do the same. Make your profile as complete as possible. then head over to the "hot" and "trending" to see the who's who on here. You can also go over to the Steem special wiki to learn more about Steem.

Take your time! its gonna be some information overload in a first few days. but you'll manage. hahaha!
