Family: This Love is Unbreakable (#302)

Who in your family are you most like, and why?

Hello #ladiesofhives, I trust your day is going as planned. If not, do not worry; there will be light at the end of the tunnel. I welcome you to my blog.

I and My Sister

Thinking about my family member I share the same similarities with, I will say it is my eldest sister. We share strong qualities, resemblance, attitudes, and competencies.

I grew up closely with my eldest sister and have watched her resonate with strong integrity, resilience, and doggedness. She is a very hardworking woman and never takes no for an answer without exploring all options.

Life happened to her during her early years of marriage, and she became a widow, but she has remained strong amidst the challenges. She made Lemonade with the Lemons life threw at her, and instead of giving up, she became the backbone of her children, ensuring that all of them are university graduates.

My Sister

Furthermore, I share some similarities with her, such as hospitality, a quiet lifestyle, perseverance, and kindness. Her home is always busy with people from different corners of the country. She never complains but will take care of them no matter how many days are involved. She has continued to harbour students in her house as the principal of a mission school.

Furthermore, my sister is always concerned with the welfare of family, friends, and loved ones. She sends out weekly, monthly, and yearly messages, checking on her loved ones and reaching out when she does not hear from them, a feature I also share with her.
Additionally, I share her quiet private lifestyle, silently making a difference around her, impacting lives and assisting the youths discover their potential.

My eldest sister has been my major motivator, and I have learnt a lot from her, starting from loving myself, setting SMART goals, and pursuing meaningful objectives. Living a committed life through outreaches and impact activities both in the church and around me.

However, this does not mean that I don’t have a voice of my own; rather, I take good counsel when the need arises. My sister and I share a great bond, and as a result, we are jolly good fellows. She has influenced and impacted me positively.

I am happy to say that I wish to remain her little sister in the world to come if there is anything like that.
