Two corporate giants teaming up to pedal the most addictive, socially acceptable drug.

Nestle and Starbuxk 'joining forces' i.e. colluding to take on the world's coffee market.

What will this do to productivity of the world? Are big businesses intentionally trying to get us hooked on the brown substance to sell more unsustainable coffee beans in un-recyclable plastic lined cups with plastic lids?

I can't help but think about the cash crop coffee plantations all across the third world, now becoming even more indoctrinated and forced to submit to the powers of global money- and power-hungry conglomerates.

That is unless they use their powers for good -- sustainable, fair trade, organic coffee beans.

All this big business in the name of 'productivity'. Literally fueling the masses.

Personally, I'm way more productive when I'm not on coffee.
I get to avoid the peaks and troughs of coffee highs.
I substitute with black and green tea, or matcha, which is plenty caffeinated enough to boost my productivity -- in both work and play.

We could boycott coffee altogether in a call to arms to end the coffee addiction forced on us by big business.

Let them see how their business decisions couldn't predict a global move away from the brown substance altogether, towards more black or green alternatives!

Trust me, they know what they're doing and what vulnerabilities they're praying on.
Luckily us mere humans are woke enough to know we can substitute with non-coffee alternatives, right?
