ORIGINAL SONG WITHOUT A VOICE

BROKEN

A ray of sunshine in a dark cave
Blueprints of sin in my veins
I'm running but I can't move on
I'm crying out, tears run on

A piece of heavens glow
Half my soul out the window
Two ways in, one way out
My minds open, I'm screaming loud

You reach out and try to hold my hand
I move back and you clearly don't understand
I'm not a project that needs to be fixed
I'm only broken, don't get it mixed.

I wrote this in class today during lectures. It was raining heavily and I couldn't hear a thing in class except for the voices in my head speaking these words.

I would love to see this become something more than what it is. I'm posting it here on #vibes in hopes that someone could lend their voice to it.

But it could still be appreciated as a form of poetry too.
