Machu Picchu (Photography)

Machu Picchu was one of the most haunting places I've ever visited. The age of the structures, the beauty of the landscape, and the mysterious fog that drifted around the mountaintops all day gave it an ambiance unlike anywhere else I've ever been.

Machu Picchu was made of stones stacked so neatly that they didn't even require any mortar to stick together. I can't imagine the craftsmanship that went into building whole temples that way!

There were also a few alpacas wandering the slopes, looking perpetually exasperating with all the tourists shoving cameras in their faces like I did :)
