Tank merupakan mobil yang berlapis oleh baja yang rodanya dilapisi rantai-rantai besar yang bergerak (berputar) di atas melingkari roda-roda giginya, dilengkapi juga dengan senjata berat pada bagian atasnya, tengah, dan juga di atas ruang kemudi serta dapat digerakkan berputar ke arah sasaran.
