Rift Life - Issue #9 - Fox? Fox???

**What happened in week 8?!**

SPOILERS FOR NA LCS AHEAD

As usual, let's take a look at the results of last week.

Another pretty decent week for my predictions. With one pretty big upset. Fox had an 0-2 weekend. I predicted the Clutch win, mainly hoping, but didn't see the CLG one coming. Clutch didn't manage the 2-0 I was hoping for, but I'm proud they took down Fox. The field is still so volatile. Clutch has beat TSM a couple times now, but loses to TL, who has just lost to TSM. Fox randomly dropping games to different teams across the spectrum. Do you think the last week of regular season will firm up the standings a bit more? Will there be any ties to break for playoff standings?

Let's take a look at the week 9 matchups.

100 Thieves has, arguably, the toughest schedule this week. Clutch, while still not being viewed as the best team, has been very consistent and even took down the top teams here and there. This consistency could easily hand them a win vs. 100. and then 100 has to take on Fox. Fox, seemingly in a slump, still is the strongest team by the numbers. I was rooting for 100 after they came out of the gate at full blast...but now, I'm not so sure. It feels like they've lost some of that spirit.

The biggest game this week seems to be the TL vs. C9 game. This is a game that will likely be very fun to watch, both bot lanes have been doing very well this season and will probably be the focus.

How will the standings be affected? What do you think?

Regardless of what happens, I think we're going to see the top three end up being C9, Fox, and Clutch.
