Marriage

If there was no marriage, there were no families, and without family there is no society. It is important to keep our marriages and families before the Lord, the church and society; for testimonies of them and preach to him with all credibility and morals.

I. How to maintain a happy and stable marriage.

a.- Obey the advice and recommendations that the Lord gives us through his word. 1 Corinthians 7: 1-5.

b.- Fear of God in the couple. Ephesians 5: 21-24.

II. Advice for husbands.

a.- Love your women. Ephesians 5:25

b.- Live with them wisely. 1 Peter 3: 7

III. Advice for wives.

a.- The married are subject to their husbands. Colossuses. 3:18.

b.- That the woman respects her husband. Ephesians 5:33

c.- His conduct be chaste and respectful. 1 Peter 3: 2

IV. Advice for the couple.

a.- They have no power over their own bodies, but their spouses. 1 Corinthians 7: 4

b.- Do not deny each other. 1 Corinthians 7: 5

God wants our marriage to be happy, and to be together until death. There are biblical examples of stable couples: Habraham and Sara; Moises and Sefora, José and Maria; If they were happy and obtained victory in their marriage we can also, obey the Lord and love our partner, because the same union that united and sustained those couples, is our God.
