Melancholy Thoughts
I don't know what to do, I always seem bored,
All my old favorite things just don't seem the same anymore,
I wish I knew how to recapture that charm from the past.
When I was younger, I had dreams of my life ahead,
I thought I'd do something special, I had a list of plans.
But none of them ever worked, I've never finished one.
I want to find a way to get away from people.
I want to hide, I want to cry, I want to hug somebody.
I only want the girl I love to be with me right now.
I don't need to change the world,
Just protect the one I love.
All I want from life is a home that I can share.
I pray someday I will have that.
Just some thoughts on my mind. Frustrated with life, wishing I was out of college and could start my life and have a place of my own. Thankful I have my girlfriend to talk to and give me a reason to keep going.

Yeah, been there. How far along are you in your degree? What are you studying?

I'm halfway done, so two more years. Studying Computer Information Systems. I like the material (if not always the classes) but haven't reached the point where I feel like I know how to use it. Like, I get the concepts I've been studying but projects I'd like to do, I don't know how to start, and I don't feel like I know enough to get a job in it or am even close to that.
