How to Achieve the Peak
Peak Mount Peut Sagoe generally reached through the west side, namely through Kampung Lutueng, District Mane. Sub district of Geumpang itself can be reached from Banda Aceh City via Sigli and Tangse, which is located 232 km lk. Hamidi, S (1976) managed to reach peak G. Peut Sague through Geumpang via Kampung Lutong with travel time for 5 days. Farisy, S et al from the Regional Office of the Department of Mines and Energy, Province of Special Region of Aceh, on December 12, 1993 also made the climb through the same path with the travel time of 5 days.
Gede Suantika, et al. (1998), traveled through Kampung Lutung. the location of transmigration SP4, by way of pioneering the way this team managed to reach the peak for 2 days or total travel time round-trip for 5 days. The distance of Kampung Lutung to Puncak Lutung (one of the peaks in G. Peut Sague) is about 20 km.
