What's steemit?
I was just checking into coinmarketcap.com and i notest in third position there was a cryptocurrency i havent seen before so i decided to do a little research on it.
It seems like steem is a cryptocurrency that you earn every time someone upvotes content you published on a site named Steemit. This social platform lets you vote on the quality of the content published by other people, and submit your own content which will be subject to vote as well.
This way you earn steem both by voting on other people's content and submiting your own.
Still learning about it but it seems like is worth a try.

This post was meant for some elsewhere originally i guess cos it sure reads like preaching to the choir... shame really, cos it doesn't add to the knowledge community imho.
I hope a few people are coming not only because there is money to get. Steemit.com is the first social platform who is using their own blockchain to fight against censorship and downtime ( and of course you are getting rewards blabla). This thing can be very revolutionary when you are thinking about the censored reddit forums like r/bitoin. There is one guy who is deleting posts and comments very regularly. This can not happen here.
