Out of curiosity, is Romania as flat as it seems in the photos?

Not at all. The southern part, yes. But the rest? No. A beautiful mountains necklace is cutting Romania in half.

When I think of Romania I'm thinking of mountain scenery but maybe the southern part is less known. I'm from a very flat area so that looks more cozy to me :)
