The US Federal reserve was the first of the monetary authorities of the G-7 countries to respond to the situation with the spread of the coronavirus. Immediately after the conference call of the Finance Minister and the heads of Central Banks of the G-7 on Tuesday, the us regulator lowered the key rate.
We are waiting for other representatives of the seven to make decisions on monetary policy in the near future. The Bank of Canada will meet today, the ECB on March 12, the US Federal reserve on March 18, the Bank of Japan on March 19, and the Bank of England on March 26
