Alabama wildlife

Took a trip to Florida and had to pass through Alabama! On the way we stopped for gas and it was at the coolest spot! It was called “the alligator stop” and soon you will see why!
The gas station property borders a national wildlife refugee, and they sell Gator food! They encourage people to feed the alligators, and so the alligators keep coming! Here’s a few hungry ones!
It seemed like this one was smiling at us after he got a can of Vienna sausage!
You probably noticed the turtle in one of the above photos, but we were also accompanied by a huge carp which I only got a poor photo of, and this bird which appeared to have an injury on his wing. It didn’t stop him from flying in and out and all around the gators, which he didn’t seem to fear!
Gotta love a natural zoo! Cheers!
