Knitting stuff: Double knitting
One of my favorite ways to knit is Double Knitting.
Not sure why. I love trying new techniques all the time. Helix, Mosaic, strand, cables. and so on.
I tried Double knitting some years back. Once I got the obstacles worked out. I just kept going. Most of the things I make now are Double knitted. My favorite are washcloths. Useful, quick to make and no end to the designs I can find or come up with. :)

Those pieces look lovely.
From their size alone I would have considered them to be pot cloth (or whatever the right English term is ...).
Actually this technique is completely new to me. More details would be fine. :)

I use them as washcloths, but you can make pot holders or even place mats. I usually use cotton yarn. I've even made a scarf once.
I will post more projects in time. I will also make a post of how I double knit. It is a way to knit both side at the same time. 2 colors without the strands showing. So both sides of the work is presentable :D

Do you sell what you knit? 'Cause pet owners would probably dig that design for a pet blanket :)
