My return after a long time

Hey everyone! It has been many years since I have been here, well actually I was never here. I was over on Steem. I tried to return to Steem but it seems it has changed a lot. It is very demotivating. So I have decided to move over here and try my hand on Hive! A lot has happened since my last post and I just slipped away and forgot all about posting!

I feel like I have things to say now so I have decided to come back! So what has happened since the last time!
Well, I finished college! Graduated with a 2.1 degree! I was hoping for a 1st. But I was incredibly happy with my result. One of the subjects was very low interest for me, which made studying for the exam very difficult. I was doing well with the assignments for that subject. The exam rolled around and I did very badly. Thankfully my other exam and assessments brought my overall grade up!

Before I had even finished college I was offered a job for a wonderful company! I am delighted with my job. I work as a software engineer! Currently doing a lot of React based projects. I am very grateful to have been able to keep working from home during the pandemic!

I also started a terrible TikTok account! I just post random stuff from my dashcam. I also post stuff from my GoPro, which is mounted to my motorcycle helmet! I mainly post car and motorbike content!

Yes!! I got a motorbike. I have always wanted one and I finally was in a place where I could get one. So last September me and a friend went and did our lessons together. A couple of weeks later we went and bought motorbikes. We have been going on spins together ever since! I am still quite cautious on the motorbike, but I am slowly getting more confidence. It is so much fun though, you feel much more in tune with your surroundings! And the views are amazing! Being able to park anywhere also has its benefits!(provided I am not blocking a path or anything like that!)

Another piece of news! I moved into a little apartment with my partner! After 3 years together! I had a lot of personal stuff going on which fast forwarded out plans. I had to get out of the situation I was in. So off we went in search of somewhere to live! We found a lovely little place in Dun Laoghaire! It is surrounded by plants, birds, squirrels, foxes and out the back is a pond where so many frogs come every year to mate!

I have plenty more news, but I shall hopefully be posting more here in the future so I will update as I go along!
