Raindrops falling like music in their own rhythmic times,
As if teasing and tempting for some under the weather rhymes.

It required no words yet we were content,
to sit there in silence under the awe of the skies.

Yes, we were blissful though no jokes were bent,
for there’s constant company above unsettling tides.

It was rare and irreplaceable, one a few only dreamt,
made of secrets and laughters and unnumbered cries.

Yet what have we now? Is it a setting showcase?
Like this magnificent view so recklessly ready to fade?

Why? I ask of this someone in ill-motivated grace?
Why leave a scar on a friendship that’s been tailor-made?

We required no words yet we were content,
now what’s left is dispute by your kind disguise.

Oh the blissful memories, all the times we’ve spent,
fast fading into the dark like a sad compromise.

It was rare and irreplaceable, one a few only dreamt,
But with sly secrets, where once was laughter now unnumbered cries.
