If you take money out of the reward pool and put it back into steem in place of withdrawing and selling to an exchange you are saving the pool. Have faith in @grumpycat

Because this is not being done to steal from the pool, learn who the voter is.

Add-On: As for those asking you to stop your behavior, I don't really think they understand what is going on here. They would rather try and correct human nature instead of a few pieces of code. One is much easier to change than the other.

There have been numerous suggestions to make self-voting, circle-voting and spamming less attractive by ...

• implementing diminishing returns when upvoting the same accounts (including own ones) again and again.

• reintroducing the restriction to four full paid posts per day (from some hard forks ago) which was very reasonable.

• thinking about other ideas like a sigmoid reward curve. Due to it's flat begin it would be far less attractive to upvote posts on which nobody else is voting (self-voting of comments would be less attractive). As it also ends flat, extreme rewards (like with n^2) would be avoided, as well.

• considering also other ideas like the one of UserAuthority from @scipio.

When I wrote my article about diminishing returns some time ago I really had hoped that more witnesses would have joined the discussion!

Without doing further investigations I guess that @grumpycat simply is the same person like @checkthisout and just want to give us a hint what our problem is.
