My thoughts on China

• The Bullet train is amazing, why we can't have something similar in the States is beyond me.
• Currency technology is much more progressive than ours. Apple Pay has a long way to go to compete with China's WeChat pay.
• Lack of clean air regulations is troublesome, but you won't notice it during the Winter Olympics because they will shut down all the factories during the weeks preceding the Olympics to put on a great disguise.
• Pedestrians have no rights - scooters and bicyclists rule the road and the sidewalk. There is no looking left when making a right turn.
• Cell phones - everyone, everywhere is on their phone. Walking, riding a bike, driving a car. One guy was riding his scooter while texting and smoking a cigarette, so much talent.
• Their censorship is holding strong and that in a nutshell is China.

Beijing:

Nanjing:

Hengda Hotel Nanjing - A beautiful hotel/resort focusing on sporting venues. The only problem is it was outside of the city center.

Hangzhou:

West Lake - I read where the night is better but the day was fine - a little bit smoggy.

Nice sculptures around the city.

Shanghai:

Gulangyu known as the island of music - also one of the more touristy spots by the Chinese.

Hong Kong:

One of the prettiest skyline in the world!

A must visit when in Hong Kong. It's just a lot of fun.

Definitely a tourist place but it's fun and great food.

Can you say fun! But be advise, this is small compared to the Disneyland in California.
